Details of our vans that you will ride to go to Taal volcano.
Type of vehicles
TRIPinas uses air-conditioned recent vans to take you to Taal volcano. All our drivers are trained for a safe and responsible driving. They can speak (at least) basic English. We have two different models: Toyota Hi-Ace (GL, Grandia and commuters) and Nissan Urvan.
Unlike some of our competitors we refuse to overload our vans and we assign a maximum of 10 to 12 passengers per van. This is to guarantee comfort and a safe ride. Please keep in mind that overloading is not allowed in the Philippines (despite what you can often see on the road) and is the cause of a lot of accidents in the country.
Each van has 9 to 10 regular seats and 2 to 3 extension seats. They are all clean and well maintained.
Pickup and drop-off services
We offer pick up and drop off service at your hotel or home within Metro Manila. The ride to Taal volcano is quite scenic as you will be able to see Laguna de bay, Mt. Makiling and Tagaytay ridge.
On the return, the van will go up to the ridge and you will be able to admire the breathtaking view from Tagaytay.
Why to get TRIPinas package with transfer included?
Getting our package make things easy for you as we offer door to door service. It avoids you the complicated (and very long) commuting from Manila to Taal volcano as there is no direct public transportation. Let’s say it, going to Taal volcano is a kind of hassle: the bus ride to Tagyatay is long as it stops almost every 10 minutes to get passengers. You have to bargain with a tricycle driver to take you to Talisay from Tagaytay and overcharging the tourist is a common practice. On the return it often happens that you have to stand during the whole bus ride as all the seats are full. The maintenance of these bus is also another concern.
For all these reasons, using our van is a good option to enjoy a relax day.
